Sumac Leaf Pendant

Staghorn Sumac may blend quietly into the landscape for much of the year, but come Fall, it shines radiant in vivid red and glowing with life. Each autumn, I find myself captivated by its stunning transformation: the leaves shift from a mixed green to hunter’s orange, finally settling into a deep, rich red that marks the season’s close. This fall, in an effort to keep the warmth of the sumacs rich red all year round, I’ve formed leaves from firing red glass enamel over the base. Hanging to mid-torso on a 30” leather, this 2.25” pendant provides a spectacular focal piece that will accent many winter outfits.
